You can see a lack of value using recruiters, you know most people apply to the roles you fill online and need someone to bridge the gap.

RAS were set up off by a former recruiter who realised the above trend with their clients.

Whilst seemingly shooting themselves in the foot they realised two things in a recruitment process:

1: Companies are keen to stop spending money when they believe most vacancies can be filled by just an advert

2: Job seekers want to know who the company are from the off. It's over 90% of candidates first question about jobs. We all want to know the brand of the name of a company before applying, recruitment agencies are stopping this and stopping you attracting the best talent.

When you go for dinner, what do you do. Google the restaurants, read reviews and look at the menu. Going out for dinner is a slightly less ( only slightly ) more important then your next job. So think how many people scroll past the jobs where it doesn't have the name of the employer.

Writing adverts is a skill. Throwing your job spec online doesn't attract people. It does quite the opposite.
